It’s the first #SoSS of the year, that’s right, we’re still being shadowbanned and silenced because we’re just too damn sexy for the rule makers of social media. Which means we need to promote each other and make sure our posts are being seen. If you’ve never joined in before then maybe 2019 is the perfect time to change that. Some of share weekly, some monthly and some as and when we can. There is no right or wrong.
With the grumble over, let the sexy commence. Here are six blog posts that caught my eye this week and you should all read them immediately.

During the week I shared my Top 20 Lovelies of 2018. Which was a ShareOurShit of sorts, I certainly hope it was viewed as such and had lots of you clicking on those fabulous links contained within it. In that post, I mentioned some other bloggers had done round-up posts but didn’t actually share them, so I’d like to that now. As well as sharing some thoughts from other bloggers as they reflect on 2018 and set their sights on what 2019 might have in store for them.
Lists and Looking Forward
Marie Rebel has done both a ‘Top 20 of ‘18’ and a more reflective post ‘Reflecting & Planning’. The second of which will speak to many of us especially as we head into a new year of blogging and may be making plans of our own.
Kilted Wookie has very kindly provided us with this yearly naughty list. What deliciously naughty bloggers have found themselves on there this year? You’ll have to click the link to find out.
May More has provided us with a very thorough round-up of her favourites bloggers in ‘2018 Top of the Blogs and More’.

I am a Mother raising a son. This isn’t often an important factor in my posts but it is today because I want to discuss the world in which I am raising him. As most of you will know by now as of December 17th Tumblr are banning all adult content. Facebook have been disallowing posts like Sexual subcultures are collateral damage in Tumblr’s ban on all adult content by Zahara Stardust that even dare to discuss what the Tumblr issue means to various communities and more and more people are being pushed into the shadows in an attempt to silence the voices of people who talk loud and proud about sex.
Now before I go on, some will say this is a is about minors in pornographic content (I’m sorry I can’t bring myself to type the more colloquial phrasing of that), sex trafficking and Tumblr’s altruistic desire to protect the victims of those things. Which skates of the fact that users have had issues with that kind of content for years and it is Tumblr’s inability to deal with posts that advocate that kind of content which has led to this blanket ban. Of course, I do not want anyone being able to access that kind of content, but if we are naive enough to think protecting minors is the sole reason behind Tumblr’s decision we would only be lying to ourselves.

Note: I mention the Top 100 Sex Blogs 2018 list by MollysDailyKiss and how the results are imminent. The results actually went live last night & are somewhat different from my reflections in this post. I’ve chosen to leave the post as is though.
It’s been a whole month since I did a #SoSS post! Mostly because I’ve been knackered and busy with new work and I’ll be totally honest blogging, both writing and reading, had to take a back seat for me to function like a normal human! BUT I’m feeling a bit more with it now, caffeine, vitamins and embracing naps has worked wonders. So without further ado let’s share some downright sexy blog posts from my fellow bloggers.

The last two or three weeks have seen being far less productive than I’d usually like to be, I still have a cough left over from what has to be the most evil cold I have had in a long time, I’ve been looking for a new day job, as a matter of urgency as I am currently unemployed which is not a happy place for me and the last week has been half term, which always disturbs my writing routine and rightly so because my small human is only 6 and is still at the stage of enjoying Mummy’s company, so I am aware that I should make the most of that before he’s older and too cool to hang out with me.
That doesn’t mean I haven’t been perusing blogs though and there have definitely been a lot of posts that I have really enjoyed. I’ve especially been enjoying the Halloween inspired posts throughout October and was inspired to explore some spooky writing myself which has been a lot of fun. Enough about me though, here are my top picks from the last couple of weeks.

It’s that day of the week again and I couldn’t go with doing a #SoSS post this week. I read some awesome blog posts and I can’t wait to share them with you. First of all I wanted to take a moment to address why we do these posts. While it is lovely to see the camaraderie within the blogging community, introduce our blog regulars to new finds and drive traffic towards new blogs those are not the initial reason the Share our Shit Saturday movement was started.

Setting up a blog is fairly easy. There a wide range of platforms where you can have a blog set up in minutes. Feeling your a legitimate blogger and not an imposter though is much harder. When asked why we write, many of us will give answers that revolve around doing it for ourselves, myself included. While that is true, I think once you start putting your words on a public platform, it is also nice to know you’re not talking into the void.
When I comment on the various memes I get involved in, especially Sinful Sunday because I endeavour to view and comment on every picture, I often notice that some of the newer participants were getting far less comments than the regulars. I understand not everyone can dedicate the time to comment on every image. Or every blog post if it’s Wicked Wednesday or Masturbation Monday, I myself can’t always do that because reading is far more of a time commitment than viewing images. Quick shout out to Friday Flash as well because I’ve also recently given that a go for the first time.

Apologies for being behind on these #SoSS posts lately. May was a bit of a manic month for me. My first ever holiday with Bakji, to the wonderful New York City, a new job, the loss of my beautiful little cat and half term means I’ve been rallying hard to just keep the changes in routine from setting my anxiety skyrocketing.
It’s June now though and perhaps that is a good time to start a fresh, treasure my May memories and let the tough times go somewhat. I think a great way to start June of right is by sharing some truly sexy blog posts with you.

I wonder if you can feel me
As I breathe you in
As your scent emanates
From soft folds of fabric
Lying against my skin

In my last Smut Marathon blog post I mentioned that I had discovered lots of new blogs to enjoy through entering the contest. In response to that post someone asked if I would point my readers in the direction of these wonderful bloggers I’ve discovered so that they could visit their sites and enjoy them too.
#SoSS Saturday seems a brilliant time to champion some of my Smut Marathon favourites, both those that are still active in the contest and those who are no longer competing. I have included their ‘about me’ from the Smut Marathon website, so you can read in their own words what they are all about.
